When we use General Listening as diagnostic tool, it is not uncommon to have findings on the head. Being able to appreciate the cranium and these findings in our EV approach will help us be more effective in practice. 

In this class we will start by working on how properly touch the head and appreciate its motions. This training will improve the quality of our touch in general. 

We will go over the fundamentals of an anatomical and energetic understanding of the skull and its contents, as we discuss how the head fits into the rest of the organism as the "eight listening post". 

The bulk of the class will be spent understanding and palpating the basic cranial motions and important cranial sutures. We'll also practice some ways of using some concepts related to acupuncture to improve motion in the head, as well as a technique that uses the fluids to release restrictions. 

Throughout the class we'll be giving examples of how to integrate this information into the practice of Traditional East Asian Medicine.
